Who I am
I am Francielle Marques do Nascimento, an AI researcher at the TIDE Research Group, Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. I recently defended my doctoral thesis titled "Towards Responsible Higher Education Institutional Analytics: A Study of Biases and Dependencies on Student Satisfaction" — with the distinction of Sobresaliente cum laude.
My research focuses on building trustworthy and ethical AI systems, with particular attention to how machine learning can be applied responsibly in educational and social contexts. I combine technical rigor with a commitment to fairness, transparency, and inclusion.
I am also involved in scientific outreach, having participated in talks, podcasts, and public events to bring AI discussions to broader audiences — especially in Brazil.
